The support of the local communities on both sides of the river will be an important factor in the future direction of this project.  Wandsworth, Westminster and Lambeth Councils, as well as TfL and the GLA, have asked that a strong community consultation programme be woven into this competition; this spirit of engagement is expected to continue as the project progresses. 

A Residents' Review Panel has been set up to consider the emerging design ideas and feed comments to the Jury Panel as the competition progresses.  As well as the Residents’ Review Panel, the general public, and in particular the local communities on both sides of the river, will be invited to comment on the design ideas at both Stage 1 and Stage 2, through public exhibitions and the Gallery page on this website.
